Role Summary
Capgemini is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Functional Consultant to join our growing Microsoft Business Applications practice. The consultant will work closely with clients to understand business requirements, design functional solutions, and support the successful implementation of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and/or Power Platform.
This role requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder management skills, and a consulting mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Consulting & Solution Design
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through client workshops and stakeholder interviews
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs within Dynamics 365 CE
- Design end‑to‑end CRM solutions aligned with best practices and Microsoft standards
- Configure Dynamics 365 modules including:
- Sales
- Customer Service
- Marketing
- Field Service (if applicable)
System Configuration & Delivery
- Perform system configuration including:
- Entities / Tables
- Business Rules
- Business Process Flows
- Forms, Views, Dashboards, and Charts
- Collaborate with technical teams on customizations, integrations, and Power Platform solutions
- Support data migration, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Client Engagement & Support
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide functional leadership during implementation and post‑go‑live phases
- Conduct end‑user training sessions and prepare training materials
- Support change management and adoption activities
Documentation & Governance
- Create and maintain functional documentation including:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Design Documents (FDD)
- User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
- Ensure solutions comply with Capgemini delivery standards and quality frameworks
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Experience as a Dynamics 365 CRM / CE Functional Consultant
- Hands‑on experience with at least one full lifecycle Dynamics 365 CE implementation
- Experience working in a consulting environment is highly preferred
Technical / Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE architecture and capabilities
- Solid understanding of:
- Business processes (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing)
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI – functional level)
- Experience with requirements gathering, functional design, and CRM configuration
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies
