MS Dynamics CRM Developer

Long Description

Capgemini is looking for a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Developer to design, develop, and implement high‑quality CRM solutions as part of our Microsoft Business Applications practice. The role involves working closely with functional consultants and clients to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performing Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions.

The developer will be responsible for custom development, integrations, and extending Dynamics 365 using the Power Platform and Azure services.


Key Responsibilities

Dynamics 365 Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE
  • Implement customizations including:
    • Plugins (C#)
    • Custom workflows
    • JavaScript (Client‑side scripting)
    • Custom APIs and actions
  • Develop and customize:
    • Entities / Tables
    • Forms, Views, Dashboards
    • Business Process Flows

Power Platform & Extensions

  • Develop Power Platform components including:
    • Power Apps (Model‑driven and Canvas – as required)
    • Power Automate flows
  • Implement security roles, field‑level security, and access control
  • Support Power BI integrations from Dynamics 365 data sources

Integrations & Data

  • Develop and support integrations with external systems using:
    • Web APIs (REST / OData)
    • Azure Logic Apps / Azure Functions
    • Service Bus (nice to have)
  • Participate in data migration activities using tools such as:
    • Data Import Wizard
    • KingswaySoft / SSIS (preferred)

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with functional consultants to translate functional designs into technical solutions
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Support testing phases (SIT, UAT) and production deployments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments

Documentation & Best Practices

  • Create and maintain technical design documents
  • Follow Capgemini development standards and Microsoft best practices
  • Ensure solution quality, performance optimization, and maintainability

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience developing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM / CE
  • Hands‑on experience with at least one end‑to‑end Dynamics 365 implementation
  • Experience working within a consulting or project‑based delivery model

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in:
    • C# / .NET
    • JavaScript
    • Dynamics 365 SDK and Web API
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Dynamics 365 solution architecture
    • Power Platform development concepts
  • Familiarity with:
    • Azure DevOps
    • CI/CD pipelines for Dynamics 365
  • Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
