Lead Application Consultant

Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Team Lead specializing in Employee Central (EC) and Performance & Goals Management (PMGM) to lead HR technology initiatives across global projects. You will guide teams, collaborate with HR and business stakeholders, and deliver scalable SuccessFactors solutions that enhance core HR operations, performance processes, and employee experience. The ideal candidate must have successfully delivered at least one end‑to‑end implementation of Employee Central or Performance Management modules.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and delivery of SuccessFactors EC and Performance & Goals (PMGM) modules.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable EC/PMGM solutions aligned with global HR processes.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end implementation activities including scoping, blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, and go‑live.
  • Develop functional specifications for integrations, extensions, and customizations across SuccessFactors and other systems.
  • Manage data migration activities, including data templates, validation, and reconciliation for EC.
  • Ensure seamless integration with other SuccessFactors modules (RBP, MDF, WFA, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, LMS).
  • Conduct UAT cycles, deliver end‑user training, and prepare process and configuration documentation.
  • Provide L2/L3 production support, ensuring timely issue resolution and adherence to SLAs.
  • Work closely with HR stakeholders and global delivery teams (onshore/offshore) to drive process improvements and system optimization.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practices, governance, and delivery standards across the SuccessFactors landscape.

 

Required Experience

  • 6+ years of hands‑on SAP SuccessFactors implementation and support experience.
  • Mandatory: At least one full end‑to‑end implementation of Employee Central or Performance & Goals Management.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Employee Central: Foundation Objects, Position Management, Workflows, Time Off, EC Events & Event Reasons
    • Performance & Goals: Goal Plans, Performance Templates, Calibration, Route Maps
  • Strong understanding of HR processes including Core HR data management and performance lifecycle.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors integrations (API, CPI, Integration Center) and data migration approaches.
  • Ability to create high-quality functional specifications and collaborate closely with integration and technical teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
  • SuccessFactors certifications in Employee Central and/or Performance & Goals.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other SuccessFactors modules (Compensation, Recruiting, Onboarding, LMS).
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Prior consulting experience or involvement in large-scale HR transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with SAP HCM or hybrid HR landscapes is an advantage.
