Infotainment SW Integration Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Software Integration for Infotainment Displays in Automotive industry
  • Control the feature flow (right content at right time)
  • Stabilize the software shortly before important deliveries
  • Manage rollout of big content topics
  • Responsibility for managing bringing the common mainline bundles to the products
  • Interface with all domains, projects and testers, especially at the point of down merge
  • Prepare and execute the merge test on each downmerge bundle regularly (up to daily)
  • Monitor the upmerge/ co-dependant changes
  • Identify any merge blockers and drive a resolution ASAP (same day usually), either locally or with responsible domains
  • Be able to hands on fix small git issues, merge problems etc...


Qualifications/Skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or similar
  • 3 -9 Years of experience
  • Experience in Infotainment systems in Automotive industry is a must
  • Good Git / Gerrit / GitHub is a must
  • CI / integration experience is a must
  • Some skills in relevant programming languages needed (C++, Java and especially Python)
  • Experience with Android Platform / build system highly desired
  • Experience with continuous testing
  • Experience and comfortable with talking with many different project partners
  • Needs to be able to take responsibility and drive topics, also with other project partners
