Operating as the primary procurement interface for stakeholders in Egypt, the role ensures that category strategies, sourcing decisions, and supplier relationships contribute to business continuity, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.

  • Contribute to and support the business in the ongoing development of sourcing strategies through best‑in‑class procurement practices.
  • Ensure category strategies and execution are aligned with Group procurement policies and governance.

  • Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in line with the Company’s Code of Business Ethics, Anti‑Corruption Policy, and applicable local and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned procurement categories at country level, including supplier strategy, sourcing initiatives, and contract management.
  • Lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities for both direct and indirect spend, from demand analysis through supplier selection and contract implementation.
  • Optimize external expenditure by actively managing suppliers, challenging demand, and driving total cost of ownership improvements.
  • Provide strong procurement support to business initiatives and bids, ensuring early procurement involvement.
  • Support budgets and forecasts in collaboration with business stakeholders and deliver measurable P&L savings.
  • Implement and maintain efficient procurement governance, processes, and tools to achieve high stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply, commercial, and compliance risks within the category.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and, where applicable, contribute to regional or offshore buying center collaboration.

Person Profile – Essential

  • Solid experience managing procurement categories with a proven track record of delivering savings and value.
  • Solid background in large complex matrix multi-national companies
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage and develop suppliers to meet business requirements.
  • Develop a clear and regular pattern of supplier relationship management to drive day to day business efficiency and a culture of continuous improvement (e.g.: Real Estate Brokers, Facilities Management)
  • Ensure a clear and fit for purpose PSL (“Preferred Supplier List”) through optimisation, management and proactive evaluation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a structured, analytical, and detail‑oriented manner, with a strong focus on risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Sound knowledge of key contractual terms and proven negotiation skills
