Job Description
The IT Business Partner will act as the local IT leader and the single point of contact between GDC leadership and Group IT establishing clear accountability, predictable governance, and consistent engagement.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a constructive relationship with the business
- Serve as the primary interface for IT matters that enable operations and with leadership.
- Collaborate with IT Business Partners for the region to ensure business leadership is adequately and consistently supported
- Gain a thorough understanding of business goals, strategies and challenges, and be able to identify value added IT services that support the growth and profitability of the business
- Set and manage expectations between Group IT and the business, ensuring transparency and alignment
- Ensure that business leadership is informed timely and accurately of available Group IT services and planned developments / initiatives
- Advocate for Group IT and coordinate the deployment of new services
- Identify synergies between business and Group IT services, looking for mutually beneficial opportunities
- Identify cost savings for both Group IT and the business
- Own end‑to‑end major incidents management and ensure timely, consistent stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate and facilitate delivery of account and delivery center specific IT requirements.
- Maintain a constructive network within the Group IT organization
- Influence Group IT to address business requirements that may fall outside standard practices, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs
- Maintain strong on‑site presence at primary GDC location and periodically visit satellite locations.
- Establish and run standard governance rituals to drive alignment, transparency, and proactive issue management.
Profile / Competencies:
The IT Business Partner serves as a strategic liaison between Group IT and the business, requiring comprehensive familiarity with both domains to ensure effective performance. Key competencies for this role include:

- Language proficiency – able to communicate fluently in English and demonstrate advanced writing skills for effective business correspondence
