Role Overview

Your Role

  • Develop & Maintain Automation Tests:
    Build reliable and scalable automated test scripts using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or SHAFT.
  • Enhance Automation Frameworks:
    Contribute to framework design, improve test coverage, and ensure maintainability.
  • Drive Quality in Agile Teams:
    Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to embed testing best practices in agile workflows.
  • Support CI/CD Integration:
    Implement automated tests within pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Troubleshoot & Optimize:
    Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and help improve overall test efficiency and stability.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Maintain clear test documentation, report defects, and provide meaningful test insights to stakeholders.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of experience in test automation across web, API, or mobile platforms.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Programming: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#
    • Automation Tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, SHAFT, REST Assured, Appium
    • CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Bamboo
    • Test Management: JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe), DevOps concepts, and SDLC.
  • Fluency in German and English
