Associate Quality Engineer - German Speaking

Job Description

Your Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a German Speaking Junior Quality Engineer to join our growing Testing team in Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software solutions throughout the development lifecycle. You will work closely with development teams to implement effective testing strategies, drive test automation initiatives, and support the delivery of high-quality software products.

Role Overview

As a Quality Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and testing strategies to ensure software quality.
• Develop and maintain automated test solutions to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define quality requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Identify, document, and track defects while supporting root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Contribute to continuous testing practices and support quality activities within CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor quality metrics and recommend improvements to enhance software reliability and performance.
• Promote quality engineering best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across projects.

Qualifications

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering roles. 
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and test lifecycle management.
• Experience with test automation frameworks, testing tools, and quality engineering practices.
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages used for test automation.
• Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and cross-functional development teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent German communication skills, both written and spoken.
