Associate Application Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with strong expertise in data management and integration solutions. The ideal candidate will excel in building and optimizing SQL queries, performing data validation, and managing ETL processes. Additionally, this role involves designing and implementing integration solutions, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet business requirements.

The Candidate will be a part of the technical team working extensively on an e-procurement tool (Ivalua) using the required skills.

Job Responsibilities:

SQL and Data Management:

• Building and optimizing SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
• Performing data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Extracting data from various sources, transform it to meet business requirements, and load it into target systems. (ETL)
• Participating in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.

Integration Solutions:

• Designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions between an e-procurement tool (Ivalua) and other enterprise applications using APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
• Developing and executing test plans to ensure integration solutions meet business requirements.
• Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of integration processes.
• Working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, designing integration solutions, and providing technical expertise throughout the implementation process.
• Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document integration requirements.
• Creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation for integration processes and solutions.
• Providing training and support to end-users and internal teams on integration functionalities.

Project Management:

• Managing integration projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Monitor and manage support tickets related to interface errors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of interface errors.

Job Requirments:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or similar role, working with relational databases.

The role provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project . Individual develops program logic for new applications or analyses and modifies logic in existing applications. Also Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications. Individual will analyse requirements, and maintains, tests and integrates application components and ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented. Certification: One should be working toward or have achieved certification on Saas or Package Based solution andoror relevant programming toolsorlanguage, and relevant methodology. ‹
