Ariba Lead

Capgemini is seeking a highly experienced Ariba Lead with deep expertise across SAP Ariba modules and strong leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will lead Ariba solution design, oversee end-to-end implementations, and partner closely with clients to drive procurement digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Delivery

• Lead end-to-end SAP Ariba implementation projects across modules such as S2C, S2P, Contracts, Sourcing, Guided Buying, Supplier Lifecycle Management, and Ariba Network.
• Drive requirement gathering workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution blueprinting.
• Architect Ariba solutions aligned with business goals, procurement processes, and industry best practices.
• Oversee system configuration, integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA, and testing cycles (SIT, UAT).

Project Leadership

• Serve as the primary Ariba SME and advisor for client stakeholders.
• Lead functional teams, guide consultants, and ensure project delivery milestones.
• Manage risks, dependencies, project documentation, and overall governance.

Integration & Technical Coordination

• Work closely with SAP technical teams to ensure seamless integration between Ariba and ERP systems.
• Define interface requirements, troubleshoot integration issues, and coordinate with middleware teams.

Stakeholder & Change Management

• Collaborate with procurement, finance, IT, and business teams.
• Provide training, user onboarding, and change management support.
• Drive adoption of Ariba functionalities and support process optimization.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Oversee hypercare and post-go-live support.
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience, with minimum 6–8 years in SAP Ariba.
• Strong hands-on experience in one or more Ariba modules:
  • Sourcing & Contracts
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Supplier Management
  • Ariba Network
  • Guided Buying
• Proven experience leading at least two full-cycle Ariba implementations.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes (S2C, S2P).
• Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA integration.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in global delivery environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Ariba certification(s).
• Experience working with multicultural, distributed teams.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Familiarity with Coupa or other procurement platforms (nice to have).
