About the role you're considering
Salesforce leader for the Life Sciences portfolio. Drives pre-sales pursuits end to end and provides delivery oversight across active Life Sciences engagements. Owns the solution narrative in front of clients, the technical integrity of what is sold, and the quality of what is delivered. Carries both a bookings orientation and a billable delivery oversight orientation.
Your role
• Lead solutioning, architecture, and estimation for Life Sciences pursuits.
• Own the technical and solution narrative across RFP responses, proposals, and orals.
• Partner with sales teams on pipeline development, qualification, and deal shaping.
• Build SOWs, delivery approaches, and staffing models that are accurate and deliverable.
• Run client discovery workshops and advisory sessions; translate business needs into Salesforce solutions.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce seller relationships in Life Sciences to advance pursuits.
• Provide architectural governance and quality assurance across Life Sciences engagements.
• Serve as senior escalation point for delivery, risk, and solution integrity.
• Validate that delivery teams execute against the sold solution, scope, and estimate.
• Mentor delivery architects and leads; resolve cross-engagement technical issues.
• Build reusable assets, accelerators, and methodologies tailored to Life Sciences.
• Develop point-of-view and thought leadership for the sector.
• Grow Life Sciences capability through recruiting, mentoring, and capability planning.
• Maintain current expertise across the Salesforce Life Sciences product roadmap.
Your skills and experiences
• 10+ years in the Salesforce ecosystem in consulting or delivery roles.
• Deep Life Sciences industry experience (pharma, biotech, and/or medical devices).
• Proven solution architecture across relevant clouds: Health Cloud / Life Sciences Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud.
• Demonstrated pre-sales leadership: RFPs, proposals, estimation, and client-facing solutioning.
• Delivery leadership at program scale: governance, quality assurance, and risk management.
• Working knowledge of regulated environments — GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, computer system validation (CSV).
• Active Salesforce certifications (Application and/or System Architect track).
• Strong executive communication and the ability to lead the room with senior client stakeholders.
Nice to Have
• Veeva experience, including Veeva-to-Salesforce migration or coexistence.
• Agentforce and applied AI on the Salesforce platform.
• Data Cloud architecture (zero-copy, federation, harmonization).
• MuleSoft or enterprise integration design.
• Salesforce Life Sciences industry credentials or accreditations.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $123,750 - $282,000
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
