Engagement Manager
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Engagement Manager to lead the successful execution of technology projects, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and measurable business outcomes. This role is responsible for project governance, delivery management, risk mitigation, resource optimization, and continuous improvement across multiple initiatives.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, strong project management capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience operating in fast-paced technology environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance
- Lead multiple technology projects and workstreams, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality, and timeline commitments.
- Develop and maintain project plans, implementation roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
- Monitor project performance through KPIs, milestones, and reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, methodologies, and governance requirements.
- Facilitate project reviews and status meetings.
Strategic Alignment
- Align project objectives with business priorities and organizational goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive execution and achieve business outcomes.
- Support decision-making through data-driven insights and effective communication.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- Maintain RIDAC registers (Risks, Issues, Decisions, Actions, and Changes).
- Escalate critical issues when necessary and drive resolution plans.
- Ensure risks, decisions, and actions are properly documented and communicated.
Resource & Financial Management
- Track project budgets and resource utilization.
- Validate resource allocation, forecasting, and effort consumption.
- Support project financial reviews and closure activities.
- Identify optimization and cost-efficiency opportunities.
Process Improvement
- Identify process improvement opportunities through project reviews and audits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project management and delivery practices.
- Establish best practices, templates, and standards for project execution and documentation.
- Promote accountability, quality, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Engagement Manager, Project Manager, Program Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar role.
- Strong experience managing technology and digital transformation projects.
- Experience working in complex, cross-functional, and global environments.
- Experience with project governance, risk management, and performance reporting.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and reporting platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or similar certifications.
- Experience with enterprise technology implementations, cloud, software development, infrastructure, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
Language Requirement
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) is mandatory.
