Software Engineer - Fullstack Developer

YOUR ROLE

Join a compact, international engineering team that builds and maintains internal applications, testing tools, and productivity frameworks for other developer teams. You’ll support three existing tools, deliver new features, and help teams adopt modern engineering practices. Typical work includes data‑heavy testing use cases (e.g., validating new datasets, data loading, avoiding duplication) and DevOps‑style coaching to introduce new processes and tools (not operational support). You’ll also explore and shape future directions—testing new tools (e.g., containerization), reviewing documentation, understanding how other teams solve problems, and leading knowledge‑sharing sessions. The current team size is ~5 people across Budapest and India.

YOUR PROFILE

• 3+ years of Core Java experience (version agnostic; strong fundamentals required).
• Solid knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot and relational databases/SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; clear communication in English.
• Full‑stack mindset / tech curiosity—comfortable working across multiple technologies; some apps use Angular on the UI.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Python; shell/batch scripting.
• kdb/q exposure.
• Ansible, Jenkins.
• Containerization (e.g., Podman, Kubernetes, or similar).
• Familiarity with Agile principles and methodologies.
