YOUR ROLE
- Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, Node.js, Nest.js).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept to production, turning discussions into actionable and measurable outcomes.
- Drive and uphold best practices in application development, focusing on web core vitals, performance, latency, caching, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, refactoring, and constructive feedback sessions to ensure code quality and continuous improvement.
- Champion testing and observability, ensuring our applications are reliable and issues are quickly identified and resolved.
- Engage in or learn about CI/CD processes to automate and streamline deployment and delivery.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, proactively identifying and addressing challenges.
YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of experience in frontend development, with exposure to backend technologies being a plus.
- Proficient in the TypeScript ecosystem, with hands-on experience in at least some of: React, Next.js, Node.js, Nest.js.
- Experience in cloud deployed application, GCP/ AWS/Azure etc.
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices including performance optimization, caching, web core vitals, and application observability.
- Experience or strong willingness to learn CI/CD tools and processes.
- Strong believer in testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and application observability.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to turning discussions into actionable tasks.
- Demonstrated experience in code refactoring and providing constructive code reviews.
