Senior Software Engineer - Core Java

YOU WILL

  • Design and implement robust multi-threaded applications using Core Java
  • Contribute to the development of trade enrichment and data processing solutions on the Fabric platform
  • Build and optimize scalable enterprise systems handling large volumes of trading data
  • Work closely with global technology teams and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions
  • Play an active role in shaping a new engineering team and influencing technical direction
 
Work arrangement
As this is a newly established team, an initial on-site presence of three days per week is expected during the onboarding phase. Once the team is fully set up and processes are stabilized, the role will transition to a more flexible working model, with approximately 50% monthly office attendance.

YOU HAVE

  • Strong experience in real-time, low-latency multi-threaded server-side application development
  • Well-versed in Core Java (1.8 and above, with knowledge of new features like Executor framework, Generics, lambda etc.)
  • Experience in collections, HashMap, concurrency packages and ArrayList, sorting algorithm
  • Proficiency in Database Management Systems (SQL Server/Sybase/Oracle) and designing/querying
  • Fair knowledge of J2EE, web frameworks - Springand web services
