Senior Full Stack Developer (Java / Angular)

YOUR ROLE

Join a global technology team delivering solutions for a large international financial services organisation. You will contribute to business-critical applications supporting securities financing and collateral management processes used across multiple regions. The team works in a highly collaborative international environment and is responsible for the full lifecycle of modern enterprise applications.

Location: Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid)

This position follows a hybrid working model in Budapest, requiring employees to work onsite approximately 50% of the time. We are currently considering applicants who are based in Hungary and eligible to work in Hungary.

YOU WILL

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Angular technologies
• Take ownership of features throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders and distributed technology teams
• Work across the full technology stack, contributing to both backend and frontend solutions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards, engineering practices and delivery processes
• Apply TDD principles and promote scalable, stable and maintainable solutions
• Support the modernization and enhancement of strategic business platforms used globally

YOU HAVE

• 5 - 7 years of experience in Java software development
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, JBehave or similar)
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
• Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket and Jenkins
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with international teams

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services environments
• Exposure to Scala
• Strong client-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in global teams
