Mid-level Frontend Developer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for Mid-level Frontend Developers to join our remote client team developing a global digital commerce platform that supports large-scale, multi-market order and payment journeys across web and omnichannel experiences.

You will work on mission‑critical payment capabilities within an enterprise-grade Order Management Platform, where frontend quality, resilience and scalability directly impact customer trust and business continuity.

This is not a marketing or content website role — it’s about building robust, reusable, and highly reliable frontend solutions used across multiple countries, payment methods and checkout flows.

Budapest | Hybrid (1 day onsite)

YOU WILL

• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable frontend solutions for complex checkout and payment flows
• Develop reusable, maintainable components and support shared libraries across multiple markets
• Build and maintain state-heavy UIs (e.g. payment status, retries, error handling, refunds)
• Ensure high standards in performance, accessibility and reliability in critical user journeys
• Collaborate closely with backend, product and platform teams in a DevOps-oriented environment
• Actively contribute to improving developer experience, build pipelines and release quality

YOU HAVE

• 3–5 years of experience as a Frontend Developer working with modern web applications
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React (or similar frameworks)
• Experience working with a frontend stack similar to ours (e.g. Preact)
• Ability to work independently on features within a collaborative team environment
• Understanding of micro frontend architecture and how independently developed parts integrate
• Experience with Node.js is a plus
• Exposure to edge platforms such as Cloudflare Workers or Fastly is preferred
• Hands-on experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. Playwright or similar tools) Ability to write clean, maintainable and testable code
• Comfortable working in international, cross-functional teams
