YOUR ROLE

Join a global technology team delivering solutions for a large international financial services organisation. You will work on applications that support large-scale data processing, risk analysis and regulatory reporting, helping business users make informed decisions in a fast-changing environment. 

 

Location: Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid)

This position follows a hybrid working model in Budapest, requiring employees to work onsite approximately 50% of the time. We are currently considering applicants who are based in Hungary and eligible to work in Hungary.

YOU WILL

  • Develop new features and enhance existing Java-based applications
  • Work with large datasets and distributed data processing and calculation solutions
  • Design, develop and improve application and data models
  • Collaborate with international Agile teams using modern DevOps practices
  • Contribute to technology improvements supporting critical business processes
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment

YOU HAVE

  • Solid Java development experience
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
  • Experience designing applications and data models
  • Understanding of Agile software development methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with automated testing
  • Experience working with large-scale databases
  • Cloud platform experience
  • Exposure to Risk Management solutions
  • Experience with distributed systems or data processing environments
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases
