Our expertise lies in Cloud & Big Data engineering, where we build scalable architectures for processing large and complex datasets across AWS, Azure, and GCP. We manage the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), leveraging modern data frameworks, programming methodologies, and DevOps best practices to create impactful and efficient solutions.

As a Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing modern, scalable, and business-aligned data architectures that enable organizations to unlock the full value of their data assets. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and cloud experts to define data strategies, architecture roadmaps, governance frameworks, and platform solutions that support analytics, AI, and enterprise data initiatives.

Location: Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid)

This position follows a hybrid working model. We are currently considering applicants who are based in Hungary and eligible to work in Hungary.

YOU WILL

• Design and define end-to-end enterprise data architectures aligned with business objectives and technology strategies.
• Develop target-state architectures, data platform roadmaps, and modernization strategies.
• Lead architectural design activities across cloud-based data ecosystems, including data lakes, data warehouses, analytics platforms, and integration solutions.
• Establish data modeling standards, architectural principles, and best practices to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.
• Drive data governance, metadata management, data quality, and compliance initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns based on business and technical requirements.
• Support the successful delivery of data transformation programs and enterprise-wide data initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models, architectural diagrams, standards, and design principles.

YOUR PROFILE

• 8+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related fields.
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale data architectures and modern data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling techniques, integration patterns, and governance frameworks.
• Strong practical knowledge of at least one major cloud platform, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with one or more modern data platforms and technologies, such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, or comparable solutions.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT frameworks, and batch or real-time data processing patterns.
• Understanding of security, privacy, compliance, and data governance best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
