Tech Lead - Cloud DevOps (AWS / Azure)

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead – Cloud DevOps to lead the design, implementation, and operational support of secure, scalable CI/CD platforms on Azure or AWS. The role involves hands-on technical leadership, close collaboration with development teams building secure products and building blocks, and ownership of infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.

This role is critical in enabling cloud‑native delivery, DevSecOps practices, and automation‑first operations.

Your Role:

  • Act as technical lead for CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud automation initiatives across Azure and AWS environments.
  • Guide, mentor, and support DevOps and development engineers in applying best practices for CI/CD, automation, and cloud engineering.
  • Review architecture designs, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code to ensure high standards of quality, security, scalability, and maintainability.

CI/CD & DevOps Engineering

  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD toolchains using:
    • Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for Azure environments
    • AWS DevOps services, Jenkins, and GitHub for AWS environments
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for secure products and reusable platform building blocks.
  • Integrate quality gates, security scanning, and compliance controls following DevSecOps principles.

Cloud Platform Support

  • Support development teams deploying applications on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Ensure cloud platforms are secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-effective.
  • Collaborate with cloud and solution architects on cloud landing zones, platform standards, and best practices.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform for provisioning and Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
  • Enforce Infrastructure as Code standards, versioning, reusability, and modular design.
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual operational effort and deployment risks.

Security & Compliance

  • Embed security-by-design principles across CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
  • Support secure SDLC practices, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise security policies and compliance frameworks.

Your Profile:

  • 5–8 years of experience in DevOps and/or Cloud Engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using:
    • Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
    • Jenkins and GitHub
  • Solid hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools, specifically Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience supporting development teams building and operating secure cloud-based products.
  • Strong troubleshooting, scripting, and automation-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and communicate effectively with engineers and stakeholders.

Certifications (Mandatory):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
    or
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (DOP-C02)
