Your role
Your role
As a Solution Architect with Capgemini, you will play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation, shaping and translating business and IT strategies into realizable solutions, and guiding the design of sustainable, scalable architectures that address complex business challenges.
In this role you will:
- Lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of enterprise architecture in agreement with the Architecture Sector.
- Work with developers, product managers, business analysts, subject matter experts and any other relevant stakeholder to define solutions and modules with required features and functionality.
- Review of architecture of existing systems, design of component architecture and building blocks; recommend and participate in the development of architecture blueprints for specific systems.
- Analyze the need of integration of different information Systems and ensure interoperability.
- Coordinate the design of the technical architecture and provide guidance on the design and implementation of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Master Data Management (MDM) or other architecture methods.
- Understands and apply security policy, measures, current standards, practices, and technology.
- Advise and recommend the enterprise architecture strategies, processes and methodologies, and assist in aligning business and enterprise initiatives with the enterprise architecture.
- Work towards evolving enterprise architecture by implementing the best practices, lessons learned and constantly updating the technical system architecture requirements based on changing technologies, and knowledge related to recent, current and up-coming vendor products and solutions.
Your Profile
• Extensive knowledge (10 years) and experience of architecture frameworks and methods and their practical implementation, working in an Architecture role preferably within large companies, consultancy, or enterprise software vendor.
• Experience in working with a range of stakeholders to translate business and non-functional requirements into technology solutions.
• In depth knowledge of interoperability frameworks, patterns and technologies.
• Experience in devising architecture strategy to support future business goals, defining roadmaps, current / future state models and maintaining architecture documentation.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of enterprise systems design and operation in multi-national multi-platform environments.
• Broad exposure / experience across service-oriented systems design, contemporary web channel solutions, large scale distributed systems design and implementation.
• Proven experience in on-premises, virtualization and cloud-based Infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Strong knowledge of OCP, Postgres, Kafka, cloud platforms and working in an agile software development environment.
• TOGAF practitioner certification or equivalent at least 3 years old. Open Group Certified Architect (Level 2 minimum)
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Good knowledge of French will be a strong differentiator.
