DevOps Engineer (AWS / Azure) - Mid Level

Your Role:

  • Design, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines for Azure or AWS environments using Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps services, GitHub and/or Jenkins.
  • Improve and optimize build, test, and deployment pipelines, including implementation of quality gates, approvals, and secure automation mechanisms.
  • Support development teams deploying applications in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS), ensuring reliable and repeatable deployments.
  • Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure following security, reliability, and cost-efficiency best practices.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for cloud provisioning and Ansible for configuration management and automation.
  • Create and maintain reusable IaC modules and automation scripts across multiple environments (dev, test, non-prod, prod).
  • Embed DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure, applying cloud security controls and governance standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, pipelines, and deployments to ensure platform stability and availability.
  • Collaborate closely with senior DevOps, cloud, and development teams on technical implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, runbooks, and best practices to support operational excellence.

Your Profile:

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation roles.
  • Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or AWS DevOps, with GitHub and/or Jenkins.
  • Solid hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools, specifically Terraform and Ansible.
  • Good understanding of cloud fundamentals including networking (VNET/VPC, subnets, security groups) and identity & access management (RBAC/IAM).
  • Experience working with Git and modern version control workflows.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps concepts and secure cloud delivery practices.

Certifications (completed or in progress):

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) or
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (DOP-C02)
