Azure Data Engineer

Job Description : NYC NY (Day 1 onsite, 5 days in a week)

Key Responsibilities

• Design build manage and optimize data pipelines ensuring smooth and secure data flow across different Azure services Develop and manage data solutions using Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks and Synapse Analytics Implement enterprise Data Lakehouse using Databricks.
• Contribute to all stages of the data lifecycle including data ingestion modeling profiling quality transformation movement and curation Design automated workflows that integrate different applications and services using Azure Logic Apps Implement real-time data workflows for logging telemetry and streaming analytics using Azure Event Hubs Ensure data integrity security and privacy across Azure data services Optimize system and query performance for faster data retrieval Implement advanced data security measures to ensure regulatory compliance with standards like GDPR and HIPAA.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure SQL Database Azure Data Lake Storage Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Cosmos DB Expertise in using Azure Data Factory and other data integration tools for seamless data movement and transformation.
• Strong skills in SQL Python or Scala for data manipulation and transformation Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark and Azure Databricks Advanced knowledge of SQL database administration on Azure with strong replication and high availability knowledge.
• Demonstrated mastery of industry best practices including CI/CD principles and secure coding practices

Mandatory Skills

• 10+ years exp in Azure Data Solutions (Azure Data Lake Storage Azure SQL Database Azure Blob Storage).
• Scripting and Programming (SQL Python Scala).
• Data Integration and ETL (Azure Data Factory).
• Data Modeling Performance Optimization.
• Problem-solving.
• Communication & Leadership Adaptability

Salary Transparency

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $110841 to $145000 /yearly.  

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
