Non Conformance Coordinator

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a proactive and highly organized Non‑conformance Coordinator to join our fast‑paced aerospace engineering team. This role requires strong coordination skills, the ability to work with multiple stakeholder groups, and confidence operating in both remote and onsite environments. The successful candidate will manage and analyze data related to manufacturing concessions and support the production of metrics and KPI reports from our management tools. Responsibilities include liaising with on‑site Capgemini Engineering and client engineers, monitoring the client Businessmap tool, and allocating work across the permanent and subcontract teams.

This is a dynamic role where priorities can shift quickly, so the ability to adapt, communicate clearly, and manage your own workload is essential.

Your role

The Non‑conformance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely communication, document progression, and closure of non‑conformance submissions through effective liaison with the wider team. The role requires managing technical information and applying a solid understanding of the associated processes and tools, including Businessmap to support metric generation and produce analytical reports for client technical leadership. The coordinator will work closely with both Capgemini and client engineers and will oversee the workflow of non‑conformance items across internal management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for disposition and turnaround time for all non-conformance submissions (Concessions, Deviation Permits, DARs, TADs, FPAs, and other QNs).
  • Ensure all submissions are progressed efficiently through completion, maintaining momentum and visibility.
  • Lead and facilitate daily stand-ups, escalation reviews, and concession flow sessions with Capability Leads; escalate issues to Coordinator Team Leader and Client Tech Leads when required.
  • Produce and maintain weekly metrics, quantity and age data, and report status updates.
  • Support the monitoring of TADs that require safety review within 48 hours and liaise with the NCA teams to ensure timely completion of safety assessments.

Your profile

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to take accountability, drive progress, and direct resources to meet objectives.
  • Previous programme, operations, or coordination experience with a proven track record of delivering improvements.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative when required.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI, with the ability to manage data, generate reports, and produce clear metrics and dashboards.
  • Understanding of engineering and manufacturing drawings, processes, and terminology.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including confidence in meetings and stakeholder interactions.
  • Highly methodical, logical, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
