Business Advisors shape the vision and strategy with the client, understand the needs of the users/stakeholders, carry out an elicitation of processes, data and capabilities and derive the target processes and the business requirements for the current and future solution.

Capgemini is hiring a Onsite Business Systems Analyst to work with a scrum team for a Connected Vehicle program in an onshore-offshore delivery model.

Your role

• Navigate stakeholder expectations while ensuring alignment on technical deliverables.
• Partner with the client Product Owner and Translate business/functional requirements into technical user stories, ensuring clear upstream/downstream integration needs, Definition of Ready (DoR), and Definition of Done (DoD) acceptance criteria
• Schedule and lead discussions with internal and external stakeholders to gather real-time and batch integration requirements.
• Identify, track, and resolve dependencies across systems and teams. 

Your skills and experience

• 8+ years’ experience in information technology field
• Strong communication and documentation capabilities with the ability to translate technical discussions into clear deliverables.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java, SQL, and database technologies.
• Partner with the client Product Owner and Business Analyst to understand business and functional requirements in detail. 
• Translate business/functional requirements into technical user stories, ensuring clear upstream/downstream integration needs, Definition of Ready (DoR), and Definition of Done (DoD) acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with BAs and Technical SMEs to capture alternate flows, non-functional requirements. 
• Ensure the product features are broken down to epics, user stories, tasks, sub tasks following the standard guidelines.
• Identify, track, and resolve dependencies across systems and teams.
• Facilitate backlog grooming and refinement sessions by collaborating with Business Analysts, BSAs, and Agile teams to ensure stories fully capture functional, technical, and integration requirements.
• Attend sprint review meetings and present the sprint increment to stakeholders.
• Effectively own UAT planning, coordination to ensure timely completion of UAT testing per plan.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java, SQL, and database technologies. 
• Possess a solid understanding of SOAP/REST web services, including the ability to document service specifications accurately.
• Utilize JIRA for backlog management, creating filters and dashboards for each release.
• Should have good understanding of production incidents and problem management
• Collaborate with the production support team to perform the root cause analysis and create JIRA stories/bugs with detailed acceptance criteria to address the production issues.
• Should have good experience in creating business process diagrams using Visio or Draw.io.
• Apply strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot issues and enhance solution quality.
Experience in the automotive domain is preferred and considered a strong advantage.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $76,200 to $187,740

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
