Your Role
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data governance models, policies, standards, and operating procedures in alignment with DAMA or similar frameworks.
- Support the definition and management of critical data elements, business glossaries, metadata, data lineage, and data ownership/stewardship models.
- Configure, manage, and optimize data governance tools such as Collibra (preferred) or Informatica to support governance workflows and controls.
- Ensure adherence to governance standards related to data quality, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform data analysis using SQL, Python, and at least one Business Intelligence (BI) tool to support reporting, insights, and governance metrics.
- Work with data on at least one hyperscale platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP), supporting modern cloud-based data ecosystems.
- Partners with engineering, analytics, and business teams to validate data usage, ensure data quality, and resolve data issues.
- Develop and maintain process models and process maps to document governance workflows, data lifecycle processes, and operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities to streamline data governance processes and improve adoption across the enterprise.
- Facilitate governance workshops and working sessions with stakeholders to define and document processes.
- Leverage AI capabilities (e.g., Copilot, Claude, or other AI tools) to automate or accelerate governance, documentation, analysis, and reporting activities.
- Design or enable AI-driven agents to perform recurring governance and analytics services efficiently.
- Stay current with emerging AI capabilities and apply them pragmatically within data governance and analytics contexts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders on data governance best practices.
- Effectively communicate complex data and governance concepts to diverse audiences.
- Facilitate discussions, working sessions, and decision-making forums related to data governance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of data governance models, frameworks, and processes (DAMA preferred).
- Hands-on experience with at least one data governance tool, preferably Collibra; experience with Informatica or similar tools is acceptable.
- Proven data analysis skills using:
- SQL
- Python
- At least one BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- At least one hyperscaler environment (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience creating process models and process maps.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to apply AI tools and agents to enhance productivity and service delivery.
- Prior experience in enterprise-scale data governance implementations.
- Familiarity with metadata management, data quality frameworks, and lineage concepts.
- Experience supporting regulated or complex enterprise environments.
- Exposure to change management and governance adoption strategies.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $86,000 to $203,000.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
