Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS/Azure

Your Role

As an AI‑driven Senior DevOps Engineer with Capgemini, you will design, implement, and optimize cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks that enable secure, scalable, and high‑performing software delivery, leveraging AI across the full development lifecycle to accelerate innovation and deliver value at scale. You will take ownership of complex initiatives, drive platform standardization, and mentor junior engineers while working closely with architects, development teams, and stakeholders across Azure or AWS environments. 

In this role you will: 

• Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps services, GitHub, and/or Jenkins, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.  
• Lead the provisioning and operation of cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure or AWS, driving best practices for reliability, security, and cost optimization.  
• Architect and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible, developing reusable, modular, and enterprise-grade frameworks.  
• Drive DevSecOps adoption, embedding security, compliance, and governance controls across the software delivery lifecycle.  
• Own troubleshooting and incident resolution for complex platform, infrastructure, and deployment issues, ensuring high availability and resilience.  
• Contribute to platform architecture decisions, standards, and roadmaps, collaborating with Cloud Architects and senior stakeholders.  
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting engineering excellence, automation-first mindset, and continuous improvement.  
• Enhance observability and reliability practices (monitoring, logging, alerting, SRE principles) across platforms. 

Your Profile

• 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation roles.  
• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure or AWS, including designing and operating production-grade environments.  
• Proven experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines at scale using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or AWS tooling.  
• Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), with experience in modularization and reusable architectures.  
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture fundamentals, including networking (VNet/VPC, hybrid connectivity), security, and IAM/RBAC.  
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern platform engineering practices.  
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python).  
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools and applying SRE principles is a strong advantage.  
• Ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and influence technical decisions in a distributed, international environment. 
• Demonstrated expertise in embedding AI into delivery practices and guiding teams to adopt AI powered testing approaches responsibly and at scale.   
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Good knowledge of French will be a strong differentiator.    
• Willingness to undergo background checks.
