Job Description
Joining Capgemini...
At Capgemini Engineering, we believe that great architecture is what bridges ambition and reality. As part of our Enterprise Architecture team, you will work at the intersection of on-premises infrastructure, Azure cloud, and Operational Technology — helping some of the world's most complex organizations build networks that are secure, scalable, and future-ready. This is a place where deep technical expertise meets strategic thinking, and where your designs truly matter.
Your Role
As a Network Architect, you will serve as a subject-matter expert across our hybrid infrastructure landscape, delivering architecture solutions that span on-premises environments, OT networks, and Azure cloud connectivity. In this role you will play a key role in:
- Developing High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for enterprise network solutions across on-premises and Azure cloud environments, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology standards
- Leading architecture decisions across the Cisco stack — including routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN — governing LAN/WAN, MPLS, and data center fabric design
- Owning the Azure hybrid connectivity architecture, including ExpressRoute integration, VNet Hub-and-Spoke topology, VPN Gateway configurations, and Azure Firewall placement
- Providing OT/ICS network architecture guidance, defining IT-OT boundary controls, DMZ patterns, and segmentation aligned with Purdue Model and ISA/IEC 62443 standards
- Delivering structured troubleshooting methodology for complex network issues and developing runbooks to support Tier 2/3 engineering teams
Your Profile
We are looking for a skilled and driven network architect who combines deep technical knowledge with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. The ideal candidate will bring:
- 9+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering, including at least 3–5 years in a network architecture or enterprise architecture role, with demonstrated experience delivering hybrid cloud network solutions
- Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco enterprise platforms (ISR/ASR, Catalyst/Nexus, ACI, ASA/FTD, SD-WAN/Viptela) and deep knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS and VRF
- Solid experience with Azure networking services, including ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, VNet design, NSGs, Private Endpoints, and the Azure Well-Architected Framework
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex network concepts for executive-level stakeholders and produce clear, implementation-ready architecture artefacts
Required Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Cisco CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security (current)
