Job Description
As a Cisco Junior Support engineer, you will will support essential network administration activities, including monitoring performance, troubleshooting basic connectivity issues, and maintaining accurate documentation of network changes and incidents. While carrying out these responsibilities, they will also have the opportunity to learn from senior team members, expand their technical skills, and grow their career in network operations and IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates with basic knowledge of Cisco Wireless or LAN Switching who want to develop their skills in a real-world support environment.
Your Role
- Provide technical support for network connectivity and performance issues involving Cisco devices.
- Assist customers by troubleshooting basic incidents, ensuring clear and service-oriented communication.
- Monitor network status and escalate issues when necessary.
- Document activities, troubleshooting steps, and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Your Profile
- 1–2 years of experience in technical support, help desk, NOC, or customer support roles (customer service experience is also valid).
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies (Wireless or LAN Switching).
- Understanding of general networking concepts and connectivity fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and customer orientation.
- English level B2 or higher (required).
