Job Description

Your Role

  • Support Oracle database deployments by executing approved PL/SQL scripts, packages, and schema changes following established procedures.
  • Assist in disabling, updating, and restarting Oracle database jobs during deployment activities.
  • Perform post-deployment validations, including error checks, object compilation, and basic functionality verification.
  • Collaborate with development and deployment teams during release windows and production changes.
  • Follow documented rollback procedures when required and help maintain environment consistency.
  • Adhere to security, compliance, and operational standards throughout deployment activities.

Your Profile

  • 0-2 years of experience working with SQL, PL/SQL, or Oracle databases through professional experience, internships, university projects, or personal projects.
  • Basic understanding of Oracle database objects such as tables, views, packages, procedures, and jobs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented technical processes.
  • Willingness to learn deployment and release management practices in enterprise environments.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • English proficiency (B2+ preferred).

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Oracle deployments, release management activities, or database administration.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands.
  • Experience using version control tools such as Git.
