Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include delivering, administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the shared cloud environment. This involves building, configuring, tuning, and implementing automation for cloud lifecycle and operational improvement.
- Provide support for the web interface used by customers to access their cloud environment.
- Establish and maintain proficiency in emerging technologies through self-study and on-the-job training. Escalate issues and defects as necessary, and work directly with escalation teams (development, network, or engineering) until incidents are fully resolved.
- Provide routine communication with customers regarding progress, status, and root cause analysis. Support customers with DNS, IP, and firewall issues related to cloud environments. Work directly with architects to help reproduce and resolve customer issues.
Experience and Technical Requirements
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong systems knowledge (Linux, Unix) and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and the OSI model.
