Your role
As a Technical Project Manager at Capgemini Engineering, you will be responsible for leading and delivering complex enterprise projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success while maintaining high standards of quality, budget adherence, and timeline management.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Manage small to medium-sized customer projects, including scheduling and resource coordination.
- Lead project teams to deliver projects that may span multiple business or technology areas but with less complexity.
- Manage project scope, time, cost, quality, risk, and communications.
- Track and manage issues using JIRA or similar tools.
- Apply basic knowledge of routing, switching, internet, and network architecture to support project delivery.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and focus on critical success factors.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Identify and escalate key issues and work with engineering and business units to resolve them.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in technical project management (Cisco networking and switching projects)
- Preferably previous technical experience as a tech support engineer in networking projects
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects within scope, time, and budget constraints
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost tracking, and resource allocation
