Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate AppStream (WorkSpaces) readiness for the Gateway System (Ticketing platform).
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to both offshore and onsite engineering teams.
  • Review and validate Galaxy configurations, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues at the intersection of infrastructure and application layers.
  • Perform final technical validation prior to Proof of Concept (POC) sign-off.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for critical technical issues.

 

Core Skills & Expertise

  • Strong background in application engineering and systems integration.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Application installation and configuration in Windows environments
    • Troubleshooting distributed systems
    • AWS fundamentals, including practical implementation
    • EC2, AppStream (WorkSpaces) configuration and management
    • File systems and networking fundamentals
    • File-share dependencies (e.g., FSx, SMB-based access models)
    • Application launchers and configuration file management
  • Proven ability to analyze and debug interactions between applications and underlying infrastructure.

 

Domain Knowledge

  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade ticketing systems, such as Gateway System or similar platforms
  • Experience leading and mentoring distributed engineering teams (offshore and onsite)
