The Role

As a Technical Support Engineer for Cisco Small Business products, you will provide expert support to customers and partners worldwide. This role offers broad exposure to diverse networking technologies, with opportunities to specialize in areas like Switching, Routing, Voice, Security, or Wireless. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be critical in resolving complex issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Providing technical support for Cisco Small Business products, technologies, and solutions to partners and customers.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers, ensuring issues are resolved while enhancing their overall experience with Cisco.
  • Share technical knowledge and insights with peers and customers through well-documented resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve critical issues, driving support efficiency and effectiveness.

The Profile

  • Exhibits advanced knowledge in at least two of the following areas, with working knowledge in the others: Routing, Switching, Wireless, Voice, and Security.
  • Possesses extensive multi-technology experience in the networking industry, with a minimum of 3+ years for L1 roles and 5+ years for L2 roles (ideal candidates may have held positions such as Network Architect, Network Engineer, or Network Administrator). CCNA. CCNP is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrates the ability to map features and functions to their corresponding technologies, with deep hands-on expertise to troubleshoot incidents and resolve them within SLA commitments.
