Consulting Manager/Senior Manager
About the job you’re considering
Organisations across all industries are navigating increasingly complex technology and transformation agendas, often needing clear, pragmatic advice to help them make confident decisions and turn ambition into action. Senior leaders are looking for advisors who can frame problems effectively, bring clarity through insight, and shape realistic pathways to change. Within Capgemini’s Cloud Infrastructure Services (CIS) Projects & Consulting, we work with clients across the financial services, public and private sectors to support front‑end advisory, transformation design and programme mobilisation. Our work spans early‑stage assessments and business cases through to the set‑up and assurance of larger change initiatives.
We are seeking Manager and Senior Manager‑level consultants who bring strong generalist consulting capability, credibility with senior stakeholders and a solid grasp of modern technology landscapes. You will play a key role in leading client engagements, shaping advisory work, supporting go‑to‑market activity and helping clients progress from insight to delivery. This role suits individuals who are intellectually curious, commercially aware and comfortable working across multiple contexts, industries and technologies, adapting quickly as client needs evolve.
This role requires someone who can:
- Lead short, focused consulting engagements such as discoveries, assessments and business cases
- Engage confidently with senior client stakeholders, shaping discussions and building trust
- Produce high‑quality, client‑ready outputs that clearly articulate insight, options and recommendations
- Work across multiple industries, tailoring approaches to different client environments
- Identify opportunities to extend advisory work into broader transformation and delivery engagements
- Collaborate effectively with delivery teams, SMEs and partners across Capgemini
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your role
As a Manager or Senior Manager in the CIS Projects & Consulting Advisory team, you will:
- Lead and deliver front‑end advisory engagements, helping clients understand challenges, options and next steps
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, combining consulting judgement with technology awareness
- Shape engagement scope, approach and outputs, ensuring work is commercially sound and outcome‑focused
- Support the transition from advisory into larger transformation, delivery and managed services programmes
- Contribute to practice growth, including go‑to‑market activity, proposition development and mentoring
- Continuously develop skills of the future, staying current across technology, ways of working and consulting approaches
The scope of responsibility will vary by grade, with Senior Managers taking greater accountability for engagement leadership, client relationships and go‑to‑market contribution. You can bring your whole self to work. At Capgemini, building an inclusive future is part of everyday life and will be part of your working reality. We have built a representative and welcoming environment, for everyone.
