•    Acting as an expert bid writer on individual questions if needed, developing compelling, high-scoring responses, working closely with SMEs to augment raw material from previous bids and other collateral.
•    Using GenAI tools confidently and intelligently to assist with bid production including researching, drafting, reviewing and scoring bid content.

As a Competitive Bid Leader you will be responsible for:

•    Self-sufficiency in rapidly acquiring domain knowledge to produce accurate, high-quality bid responses without reliance on subject matter experts stepping in as bid writers.
•    Consistent and demonstrable experience of large and/or complex deals in which the quality of written submissions is a key factor in winning the deal.
•    Confidence, gravitas and authority in driving others to apply bid management and bid writing best practices, broadly aligned to APMP standards.
•    An ability to command overall messaging, ensuring consistency in style and tone of voice with clear articulation of hot buttons, win themes and business value.
•    A passion and enthusiasm for developing winning responses and continually improving ways of working
•    Experience working under pressure and within strict timeframes, applying a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude to get high quality bids over the line.
•    Ability to develop junior and inexperienced team members on best practice writing skills
•    APMP certification would be an advantage but not essential.
