About the Job You're Considering
The SAP Engagement Manager (PM/PMO) is directly responsible for successful execution and completion of a program and all OneCapgemini components if SAP is the lead Business Line in/for a program; successful is defined as meeting the timeline, client and Capgemini financial commitments, and stated client outcomes while achieving all quality requirements. The SAP Engagement Manager (PM/PMO) is specifically tasked with the overall orchestration and integration of all Capgemini offerings during the program’s life
Project Managers are responsible for overseeing the project/engagement/contract/activity on a daily basis and are responsible for delivering high-quality results within the identified objectives and constraints, ensuring the effective use of the allocated resources. They are responsible for risk and issue management, project/engagement communication and stakeholder management. Project managers perform the activities of planning, organising, securing, monitoring and managing the resources and work necessary to deliver specific project goals and objectives in an effective and efficient way.
Responsible for leading either a large contractorengagement or a definable segment of a very large and complex contractorengagement. Clients may be external or internal. PM are responsible for the translation of the clients complex business requirements into formal agreements. For these, PM establish specific solutions, applications or processes which ultimately culminate in customer acceptance of the results. This includes working with client team members and executives to identify business requirements and subsequently working with, and leading others, in the initiating, planning, controlling, executing and closing the clients solution. PM are responsible for a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, and final delivery.
Your Role
- The SAP Project Manager is typically assigned to one (1) engagement and/or client to assure appropriate and adequate coverage and attention is invested in a client’s success. Program Size: maximum TCV of $15mm or monthly revenue flow of up to $2mm | Team Size: maximum 100 across limited geographies and/or capabilities
- Responsible for the successful delivery of client outcomes and results.
- Direct responsibilities for Capgemini’s delivery team including all associated delivery personnel regardless of geography and/or capability.
- Serve as the highest point of escalation for the Capgemini project and program team(s) and highest point for the client to escalate for day-to-day delivery issues
- Drive the entire program lifecycle from program initiation to program closure utilizing the prescribed Capgemini tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Engage directly with client counterparts to create and maintain a productive and positive working relationship and cadence
- Shares full accountability for the financial performance of each assigned program with the assigned Delivery Executive.
- Provides accurate and timely financial information to appropriate client constituents in accordance with the SOW or as agreed to with the client PMO
- Translate the objectives, scope, milestone(s) and deliverables aligned with the SOW into a comprehensive program plan utilizing the agreed-upon project management toolset(s).
- Collaborate with the client to appropriately adjust, affirm and gain signed-off agreement to set the baseline plan for the overall program.
- Active management of the plan including progress activity updates, adjustments aligned with the SOW and associated CRs and agreed-to replanning activities
- Participate in client discussions, either face-to-face or remotely, to present to and interact with clients on the specific content of a submitted response or engage extemporaneously in client discussions to address points of inquiry that presents Capgemini as service provider capable and confident to address the client’s needs
- Continuous engagement and contributions to the SAP Business Line.
Your Skills and Experience
- Years of Project Management Experience: 10+
- Years of SAP Experience: 20+
- SAP certifications preferred (SAP, Agile, Scrum Master)
- Education : Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Strong Executive Presence
- Action oriented/self-motivated
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $88,544- $250,609
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
