System Engineer - Workplace & Hardware Integration

YOUR ROLE

  • Perform the compatibility and validation tests required prior to production deployment
  • Ensure ongoing compatibility of supported hardware and peripherals
  • Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers on the integration of new hardware platforms
  • Manage and maintain associated drivers, BIOS versions and hardware settings
  • Create, maintain, and version driver packages required for deployments
  • Integrate hardware packages into SCCM/MECM
  • Adapt and maintain Task Sequences in line with hardware evolutions
  • Validate new driver and BIOS releases before deployment
  • Maintain a documented, consistent hardware and software repository that complies with established standards
  • Provide expert-level support for hardware integration-related issues
  • Diagnose and resolve complex incidents affecting devices, deployments, drivers or BIOS
  • Analyse technical logs and identify root causes of incidents
  • Implement the necessary corrective and preventive actions
  • Collaborate with technical teams, software vendors and hardware manufacturers during escalation activities
  • Monitor emerging technologies related to hardware platforms and deployment solutions
  • Participate in Windows migration projects and Standard Configuration enhancements
  • Develop or maintain automation scripts
  • Collaborate with Security teams to ensure compliance of integrated solutions

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to solve complex problems
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • Quality, service and continuous improvement oriented 
  • Fluency in English, French would be an asset
