Data Scientist - Quantitative Social Research

YOUR ROLE

  • Conducting quantitative data analysis using R and Excel to produce reliable, meaningful insights.
  • Designing, analysing and interpreting statistical indicators and datasets in a social science context.
  • Contributing to research studies, reports and analytical notes related to children’s rights.
  • Producing clear, structured and accessible written outputs (reports, analyses, summaries) for a broad audience. 
  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and domain experts.
  • Presenting results clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing. 
  • Ensuring data quality, methodological rigor and clarity of interpretations.
  • Working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, with professionalism and diplomacy.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Social Sciences (psychology, sociology, economics or related field) or in Statistics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience is required if you have prior knowledge of the domain; otherwise, a minimum of 5 years of professional experience is expected.
  • Excellent command of R and Excel.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured and user friendly content.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of children’s rights is a strong asset.  
  • Fluency in French and in English is required.
