Defence Mission Systems Engineer

Your Role

Join Capgemini Engineering and help deliver cutting-edge defence and mission systems across the UK and internationally. Working within a team of systems engineering and MBSE specialists, you'll support projects throughout the system lifecycle, from concept development to in-service support, while helping clients enhance their digital engineering capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver systems engineering and MBSE solutions on complex defence programmes.
• Engage with stakeholders to define, analyse, and manage requirements.
• Apply SysML and MBSE methodologies using industry-leading toolsets.
• Provide technical guidance and support capability growth within project teams.
• Contribute to digital transformation and systems engineering improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

• Experience delivering defence-related systems engineering projects.
• Knowledge of software-intensive mission systems.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle processes and MBSE.
• Experience with SysML and tools such as Cameo, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, or Capella.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
