Experice:- 3 to 8 years
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in aircraft electrical wire harnesses to support build plan creation, installation process development, and shop‑floor manufacturing support. The role focuses on wiring fabrication, producibility, and process improvement across electrical panels, cable assemblies, and aircraft systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Author build plans and fabrication processes for aircraft electrical wire harnesses.
- Develop work instructions for installing wire harnesses and electrical components in panels and assemblies.
- Define efficient wiring process sequences (cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, routing, labeling, kitting).
- Create installation plans in CAPP/MES/Teamcenter.
- Develop testing and inspection plans for electrical continuity and system functionality.
- Perform process audits to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Support FOD prevention, safety procedures, and resolution of non‑conformances.
- Conduct DFM and producibility studies; prepare technical reports.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and drive process improvements.
- Review and interpret manufacturing and BAC‑type process specifications with SMEs.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Top Required Skills:
- Build plan and fabrication process authoring for aircraft wire harnesses.
- Experience developing installation work instructions.
- Hands‑on wiring experience with electrical harnesses and cable assemblies.
Preferred:
- Aerospace/OEM experience.
- Proficiency with Teamcenter, CAPP, MES, and wiring tools/equipment.
