Windchill Bulk Migration Architect

Your Role

 

  • 7+ years of experience in PLM data migration, with at least 3+ years in Windchill or Windchill+.
  • Direct experience with Windchill+ Bulk Data Migration Tool or Windchill loaders (WBM, loaders, Info*Engine-based utilities).
  • Proven track record executing CAD, Document, WTPart, and metadata migrations.
  • Expertise in Windchill+ Bulk Data Migration tools
  • Mapping transformation logic (attributes, soft types, classification)
  • CAD data structures (Creo required; SolidWorks/NX a plus)
  • WTParts, EBOM management, CAD–WTPart associations
  • Utilize Windchill+ Bulk Data Migration Tool, loaders, and APIs to execute large-scale migrations.
  • Develop data load files, scripts, mappings, and transformation utilities.
  • Manage pre-load validation, load execution, post-load verification, and error resolution.
  • Optimize migration performance and coordinate with SaaS tenants for Windchill+ constraints and update schedules.

Your Profile

  • Strong SQL/Oracle query skills for extraction and validation.
  • Familiarity with scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation and data processing.
  • Understanding of Windchill+ data model, lifecycles, workflows, and security rules.
  • Experience migrating from Legacy PDM/PLM platforms
  • CAD vaults
  • ERP engineering data
