Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated WLAN Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test frameworks for wireless networking solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in WiFi testing, automation scripting, and network protocol validation, with a strong understanding of wireless standards and test methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated test scripts for WLAN features and performance validation.
• Develop and maintain test frameworks for functional, regression, and stress testing of WiFi systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure test coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Perform RF performance testing, throughput analysis, and interoperability testing.
• Use tools such as Wireshark, IxChariot, Spirent, Ekahau, and AirMagnet.
• Maintain test documentation, logs, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• 3–9 years of experience in WLAN testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, or similar scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with robot framework, pytest, or similar automation tools.
• Exposure to WiFi 6/6E/7, mesh networking, and IoT connectivity.
• Knowledge of Linux-based systems and embedded networking.
• Certifications like CWNA, CCNA, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.

• Ability to work independently and in agile teams.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for wireless technologies.
