Teamcenter Functional Consultant

Your Role

  • Facilitate and document functional workshops for Part/Material Master, BOM/EBOM, Change, Document, Drawing, Software Release, Package Engineering, ECAD/MCAD, and xBOM topics.
  • Capture current-state flows, lifecycle states, roles, hand-offs, exceptions, and division/site variations.
  • Identify process harmonization opportunities and distinguish business-critical requirements from legacy behaviors.
  • Assist in mapping Aptiv capabilities and process needs to Teamcenter OOTB functional capabilities.
  • Support Fit-Gap classification and recommendation drafting for each assigned domain.
  • Work with Data, Integration, Reporting, and Security stakeholders to capture cross-functional impacts.

Your Profile

  • Strong PLM functional consulting background with Teamcenter process knowledge.
  • Understanding of engineering lifecycle processes including part creation, BOM management, change management, document/drawing control, and software release governance.
  • Experience with capability mapping, workshop facilitation, requirements elicitation, and Fit-Gap documentation.
  • Ability to write clear business requirements, and functional design inputs.
  • Awareness of xBOM concepts: EBOM, DBOM, MBOM, BOP/process engineering hand-offs.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work with global business and IT stakeholders.
