System Integration Automation & CI CD SME

As a DevOps and Automation SME, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks that support next-generation telecom services.

Your Role

As a DevOps and Automation SME, you will lead the development of automation solutions for telecom cloud platforms, enabling efficient deployment, orchestration, and lifecycle management of virtual and containerized network functions. You’ll collaborate across engineering, testing, and operations teams to deliver robust, secure, and high-performing automation pipelines.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for telecom cloud platforms
• Develop Python-based automation frameworks for CNF/VNF deployment, configuration, and validation
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible, Helm, and Terraform
• Build RESTful APIs and automation interfaces for internal and external systems
• Integrate CI/CD workflows with Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and artifact repositories
• Implement automated testing, security scanning, and deployment workflows
• Support continuous delivery and rollback strategies for cloud-native network functions
• Develop Python utilities for log analysis, data parsing, KPI monitoring, and network testing
• Ensure compliance with ETSI NFV, 3GPP standards, and security policies
• Troubleshoot complex issues across OpenShift, Kubernetes, and underlying infrastructure
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
• Collaborate with developers, testers, cloud architects, and RAN/Transport engineers
• Create release documentation including MOPs, ATPs, and configuration guides

Your Profile

• 8–12 years of experience in EMS/NMS development and deployment for RAN
• Strong understanding of telco cloud automation and orchestration
• Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code tools: Terraform, Ansible, Helm
• Expertise in Python scripting, API integration, and operational automation
• Experience with OpenStack, Kubernetes, and CNF/VNF lifecycle management
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions
• Domain knowledge: SNMP, CLI, Netconf, REST API, CURL, HTTP, TMF, XML/JSON/XSD/XSLT
• Programming languages/OS: C, Python, Perl, Linux/Unix
• Tools: Spirent, Viavi, COM5, Arcsight, GitHub, JIRA, CVS, VPP, DPDK
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
