System Engineer - FWS

Your Role
An experienced Aerospace System Engineer with system design and development, particularly within the Airbus environment. Skilled in applying the V-Model and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies to complex aerospace systems. Demonstrated proficiency in Flight Warning Systems and related domains such as Avionics, Auto-pilot, Flight Control, Flight Management, Navigation, and Landing Gear Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply system engineering knowledge, including V-Model and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), to aerospace projects.
- Contribute to system design and development of Flight Warning Systems or similar avionics systems such as Auto-pilot, Flight Control, Flight Management, Navigation, and Landing Gear systems.
- Work on the design phase of the V-cycle, including requirements analysis, architecture definition, and system modeling.
- Resolve issues arising from application usage, flight tests, and lab tests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical objectives are met across project phases.
- Engage in digital logic design and combinatory logic development.
- Participate in Airbus or French design projects, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and practices.
Your Profile

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of system engineering principles including V-cycle and SDLC.
- Experience in system design and development for avionics or flight systems.
- Familiarity with aerospace standards and protocols such as DO-178, AFDX, ARINC 429, and AS9100C.
- Hands-on experience with model-based development tools like SCADE and MATLAB.
- Exposure to digital logic design and troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills (written and spoken).
- Strong logical and analytical thinking.
- Experience working with French teams or Airbus design projects.
