Primary Skill

  • SAP ABAP Development: Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms within the SAP landscape
  • Utilize ABAP skills to create and optimize ALE/IDoc interfaces for communication between SAP and external systems
  • ALE Configuration and Setup: Configure and set up ALE scenarios, partner profiles, logical systems, distribution models, and ports for communication between SAP systems
  • IDoc Development and Mapping: Design and develop IDoc structures, message types, segments, and mappings for data exchange based on business requirements
  • Implement IDoc enhancements and conversions to facilitate seamless data transmission
  • Interface Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor ALE/IDoc interfaces, troubleshoot errors, and perform root cause analysis to ensure reliable and error-free data transfer
  • Collaborate with functional teams to resolve interface-related issues and optimize performance
  • Documentation and Best Practices: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ALE configurations, IDoc developments, and interface mapping for reference and audit purposes
  • Adhere to best practices, standards, and governance procedures in ALE/IDoc development and integration
