Job Description

• Responsible for Delivering Test Environment and O&M of Ericsson core network elements (mainly comprising of Ericsson vDSC, SAPC, vSGSN, AMF, SMF, MME, SGW, PGW, UPF, NRF, NSSF, WMG) within Test Lab.

• Analysing service request, change request and test environment requirements received from Lab users (Project, domain, operations, test team, vendor and 3rd party)
• Building test environment, Integration of core network with another test network element.
• Verification/Readiness check for Test set-up.
• Producing Environment Design Document (EDD) for Service request

• Maintain domain nodes hw inventory.
• Support new node installation and integration.
• Analyse the lab usage, traffic pattern and plan for capacity enhancements.

Liaise with lab user for resolving issues that require 2nd line and vendor support from them e.g. h/w faults, expansions etc.

• Responsible for Delivering Test Environment and O&M of Ericsson core network elements (mainly comprising of Ericsson vDSC, SAPC, vSGSN, AMF, SMF, MME, SGW, PGW, UPF, NRF, NSSF, WMG) within Test Lab.

• Analysing service request, change request and test environment requirements received from Lab users (Project, domain, operations, test team, vendor and 3rd party).
• Adopt Live HLD and LLD for lab environment and implement.
• Producing design for the Core network connectivity, configurations, exchange DT for Test environment as per the testing requirements.
• Building test environment, Integration of core network with another test network element.
• Verification/Readiness check for Test set-up.
• Producing Environment Design Document (EDD) for Service request.

• Ensures that all Core network elements within test facility are in synch with the live network i.e. correct s/w, h/w level, configurations and features are representative of customer’s live network.
• Analysis of test data, protocol traces, and system log files to identify and fix the problems related to test set-up.
• Routine maintenance (preventive and corrective) of core network elements of test lab. Taking data back-ups as and when needed.
