Skyhigh Web Gateway SME

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Skyhigh Web Gateway SME to join our Network Security team with 6 - 12 years of experience for Bengaluru India Location.

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 operational support for global data centre and network environments with a primary focus on Sky‑High/McAfee Proxy.
• Manage and maintain daily proxy operations including configuration, policy updates, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Handle incident, problem, and change management processes ensuring timely resolution and compliance with service-level expectations.
• Perform installation, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities for McAfee Web Gateway infrastructure.
• Monitor proxy performance, threat intelligence events, SSL inspection issues, and enforce URL filtering policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Security, Networking, and Infrastructure to support BAU and project activities.
• Provide technical expertise for proxy integrations such as ePO, MVision, GTI, and Advanced Threat Defence.
• Participate in rotational 24/5 support, including on-call duties and after-hours change implementations as required.

Your Profile

• Strong hands-on expertise with Sky‑High/McAfee Web Gateway including planning, installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Proficiency in creating and managing proxy rule sets, policies, URL filtering, SSL scanning, and certificate handling.
• Deep understanding of McAfee GTI (Global Threat Intelligence), threat categories, and enforcement mechanisms.
• Experience with McAfee integrations including ePO, MVision, dashboard monitoring, alerts, and Advanced Threat Defence.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex proxy environments with ability to diagnose authentication issues, traffic flow, and policy conflicts.
