ServiceNow Developer | 6 to 9 Years | Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad
Your Role
- We’re looking for a ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and optimize solutions across IT Service Management (ITSM) and either HR Service Delivery (HRSD) or Customer Service Management (CSM). You’ll work closely with product owners, process SMEs, and platform engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and upgrade‑safe implementations that drive measurable business outcomes
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Design & Configuration: Translate process requirements into maintainable ServiceNow configurations (tables, forms, UI policies, client/server scripts, flows) aligned to out‑of‑the‑box (OOB) best practices.
- Module Implementation: Implement and enhance ITSM (Incidents, Requests, Changes, Problem, CMDB, SLAs) plus HRSD or CSM case management, portals, knowledge, and service catalogs.
- Integration Engineering: Build and support integrations using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth/JWT, MID Server, and event/webhook patterns.
- Platform Engineering: Extend the data model, develop custom apps when necessary, manage update sets, and ensure upgrade‑safe development with clean separation of configuration vs. customization.
- UX & Portals: Develop and refine Service Portal/Employee Center or CSM Portals, widgets, theming, and reusable components for an intuitive user experience.

- ServiceNow Scripting (Client & Server): Strong in Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, GlideAjax, and Asynchronous patterns.
- Flow Designer & IntegrationHub: Building robust, reusable flows/subflows, spokes, and API integrations (REST/SOAP), plus connection/auth profiles and error‑handling frameworks.
- ITSM & One of HRSD/CSM Expertise: Deep understanding of ITIL processes and hands‑on build experience in HRSD (Lifecycle Events, HR Services, Case/KB) or CSM (Case, Entitlements, Contracts, Playbooks, Communities).
- Data & CMDB Modeling: Table design, dictionary, relationships, CMDB class model, Discovery/Service Mapping concepts, SLAs, and Performance/Indexing tuning.
- Portals & UI/UX: Service Portal / Employee Center / CSM Portals, widgets (AngularJS/Now Experience where applicable), theming, and accessible, responsive UI patterns.
